Try as I might, I can't understand new kinja. I've been trying to use the tiger off site, but sometimes I still get dumped into the awfulness that is the new commenting system. So I try it out, then get pissed, switch over, and find what I had suspected.....like 60 more comments that were missing in the new system! Even if you click "show all replies" it doesn't show them all....not even close....and NEVER grey comments. So I guess this means there's really no point in participating since no one will ever see my posts.

I literally haven't read a single comment since they switched to the new format. It's a complete disaster.

As far as I can see..the changes seem to make sure that corporate content get preferential treatment. See Volkswagen,Jeep, Mustang coverage etc.
User ie rank and file content no matter how good seems to be getting short changed.This is all becoming one big commercial website pretending not to be a commercial website by people writing fawning stories for the brands that want access to the websites demographic. It is what it is..if you can't see the subtle taint you're not looking hard enough
